Evolution Of Tyson Brown
So, this is me, back in the day before I started training – looks a bit different to now, huh? Back then I weighed around 70kg and didn’t have the urge to rip off my clothes every minute.
My initial motivation then was enhancing my appearance, as shallow as that may now sound, but like loads of guys I wanted to look more desirable to the opposite sex. I soon realised that this was a pretty short lived plan, as once I’d met my partner and the comfort of a long term relationship kicked in, I didn’t really have the lasting determination or desire to keep working on my body.
So, then with all the stresses and strain of holding down a pressured job I sought comfort in the gym and my determination to improve my physical wellbeing and appearance emerged with a vengeance.
Fast forwarding to now and 14kg of muscles later, these days I spend 3 to 4 days a week in the gym working hard to achieve the aesthetic look. I challenge myself with tough workouts that combine resistance, cardio and core work to strengthen and condition my body. I eat as healthily as I can but still allow myself the occasional treat, no one is perfect!
I take care not to over train by having rest days and regular sports massages, relaxation and sleep is essential in aiding the growth and repair of muscle tissue. Looking and feeling good is something you really have to invest the time and effort in. It takes time, patience and determination to achieve your goals. I’m still working on mine…. What are yours?
